The smallest island in the world.

In our world has so many fantastic and amazing Islands but have you known about the smallet Island in the world before?

Bishop Rock holds the Guinness Book of World Records title of smallest island in the world with a building on top of it (although what makes its different from a rock).
An amazing lighthouse, built in 1858, is the only thing stands on this tiny island off the coast of Britain. The first lighthouse erected on the island was washed away before it could be completed.  The current lighthouse has managed to survive currents and winds for well over a century.

In historical times, convicted criminals were left with bread and water on the island to die.
The concept of building such a complex and heavy structure in such a terrifying place really does stretch the imagination.

The 35 metre high tower contained 2,500 tons of granite and cost about £34,560. It took seven years to complete the tower and the light was finally lit on the 1st September 1858.

The empty tower looks like a spooky place and so calm. Nothing lives on this Island or you want to live at there......
